Turn your mains electrical supply into a computer network

The idea behind HomePlug is very simple. You plug a HomePlug into the electrical mains socket  and attach it to your computer via a standard Ethernet (Network) cable. You -plug another into the mains socket next to your router and run another Ethernet (Network) cable to the broadband router. There you are - instant network. The signals travel between the computer and the Internet via your existing mains cable. Want to add another computer? All you have to do is purchase another HomePlug, connect it to the mains socket and run the Ethernet Cable from the HomePlug to your computer - job done.

Plus you can also take advantage of our Wireless N HomePlug which you place into a suitable mains socket in the room and your laptop can wirelessly connect to the HomePlug. Wire free networking in the most inaccessible places.....easily and without fuss.

There are several versions of HomePlug the 85 Turbo, 200AV,500AV and 1Gig models. Please remember that the 85 Turbo products will NOT inter-operate with the 200AV, 500AV & 1GIG adapters however they will sit on the same mains wiring without interference.

For best results HomePlug units should be plugged directly into the wall outlet as opposed to extension leads and power strips. The 200Mbps models provide a “piggy back” connector so that the unit can be plugged into the wall socket and extensions run from there.
